Here's the odd bit - I've taken this quiz a couple of times (I feel I'm more a Giles than a Willow) but keep getting the same answer. And, yes, I *really* should be doing something else.

I've never watched the show, but felt compelled to take the quiz twice and also came up with Willow both times. Is it because we're looking for men who are quiet, thoughtful, and interesting?

I think it has more to do with being very comfortable in libraries. Willow's first boyfriend was all quiet and interesting -- but she, um, sorta went against type with her next relationship and came out. FWIW - Tara, Willow's g'friend, was very quiet and thoughtful, too.

I ended up being Willow, too. (FWIW, I said I was most comfortable in a mall. Which is true, actually.) Like you, A, I fancy myself as more of a Giles type. Or maybe I'm just attracted to the Giles type. Hm.
