Go see UP. I now know that I hadn't really lost my sense of wonder, just misplaced it in my skull somewhere.
Rent Hamlet 2. I laughed. I laughed some more. It's probably funnier if you've done theater; still, very funny even if you haven't.
Oh, and ancillary quote of the week from one of the lawyers at the house closing: "That form is accurate but incomplete." Lawyers just don't speak the same English the rest of us do...*
* There was also a form labeled "Duplicate Original." I'm still not sure how time would have to bend to make both of those descriptors true.

We just saw Up today. Loved loved loved the first few minutes. And the rest didn't disappoint. (Is it just me or was the old man totally Spencer Tracey?)

I can see Spencer Tracey. I just kept picturing Ed Asner, since I knew he did the voice.

Saw it last night. Made me cry in that first fifteen minutes (well, how could you not?). It was just glorious and sweet and the short before the main movie was pretty damn funny to boot. And we have Toy Story 3 to look forward to! All hail, Pixar! Made of win wrapped in awesome with a side order of kickass.

I bawled through most of the movie. But I want to see it again right away. I keep waiting for Pixar to make a movie that's not awesome (not a bad movie, certainly, they're surely completely incapable of that). It has yet to happen. I hope it never does.

See I’ve been wanting to see it, but if anyone bawled through the entire movie, I know I will! I have the most sensitive cry button in the world. I usually don’t see movies that I know will make me cry even though I know they will be good. It’s just embarrassing to be the sobbing weirdo. Even at home.
