Adrienne - excellent article!! Laughed out loud at "because I'm old, that's why. And get off my lawn." I could have sworn I heard Clint Eastwood's voice....

Love it! My husband recently used my backup toothbrush, kept in a cup by the kitchen sink, to clean something (minus ten points). He then rinsed it and put it back in the cup (plus two points).

A few days later, when I didn't have time to do the full electric toothbrush routine and instead did the quick brush with the backup toothbrush, I wondered aloud why my toothbrush tasted like hand lotions (or hand soap).

In case you are wondering, it takes three dishwasher cycles to fully eliminate the soapy taste from a toothbrush.
