no widows, son

* Yo, yo, yo. Kernin' y'all.

* Sheri at the Loopy Ewe reminds me why the fall is the most wonderful time of year: Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Sadly, oh so sadly, the nearest *bucks is an hour away. Woe.

* Also sadly -- the nearest Wegman's is an hour away, too. But I do have the We Love Wegman's blog to keep me company.

* Creepiest kid's show ever.  The Diva, however, loves it.  Kids are weird.

* Lastly, in case you ever need it, Iain M. Banks has a list of all of the Culture ships up on his My Space page.  Ain't the internet grand?

I think my mother comes to visit for the Wegmans more than for me. (Actually...http://stitchbitch.blogspot.com/2006/11/day-three-more-views-same-couch.html)

So, I meant to say, thanks for the Wegman's blog link.

You can never have too much pumpkin! Are there any Afghan restaurants in your area? They serve a fantastic pumpkin dish called Kaddo Bourani, with meat or without. (Both look strange, but are very tasty!)

I get my Wegman's fix whenever I visit my folks in Northwest PA. Our nearest is Way the heck up in Cherry Hill, NJ. Over an hour. I have to make do with Acme and ShopRite. *sigh*

We only just got a Japanese restaurant. Afghan is right out. But next time I'm either in a big city, I'll seek it out. One can never have enough pumpkin.

Speaking of -- our vet has always told us to feed pumpkin to our fat cats to fill them up between meals. Low calorie. High fiber. And makes the poo interesting.

Love Wegmans! That is the biggest drawback to Oneonta. No Weggies. :(

And you're welcome, Anna. We've been known to go up to visit the grandparents just to get a Wegman's fix. Don't think they mind, as long as we bring the children.

Ah, pumpkin beer season must be nearly upon us. The brew pub a mere three blocks from my house has several varieties on tap in the fall. Mmmm, liquid pie. If you're willing to take a chance on the weather (sometimes it's quite lovely, but there's always a chance it will drizzle every day), that's enough of an excuse to visit Seattle, in my book.

Not that I needed an excuse -- but pumpkin beer is certainly a draw. And I love drizzle. Sad, but true.
