no, no. go on without me.
win yarn!

many things make a post

A light, image-rich list this week. Apparently words are hard to parse right now.

* I am in awe of this cake. I am also in awe of this jello mold.

* This poster just makes me want to cry. Speaking of - I haven't seen MegaShark but the poster almost makes me want to. Almost.

* Curling condoms. Yes, you did read that correctly.

* Life before Google.

* Oh, Heather Ross. Just when I think I'm over my fabric problem, you pull me back in.

* Peter Sagal's theory on kids and entropy could not be more right. My vacuum, however, has no balls.

* How did I miss these!

* See? The Oatmeal agrees with me about talking on the phone.

* Troy Patterson on ice dancing and Canadian navel-gazing.

ETA: I lived in Knoxville for almost six years and never once saw a Sunsphere tchotchke. Hrumph. Next time I'm in town I'm buying a dozen of them.

That's a damn shame - LMAO
Also - while I am not a big admirer of the knitted arts, the squirrel mittens are teh AWESOME!

I saw this show, and these 2 are amazing together, funny and brainy. The funniest thing was the right after this segment, on came the commercial for the Dyson ball Vacuum. I roared! According to my sources, this was nation-wide, so coincidence or planned, way to go CBS.

You clued me into Troy Patterson's Winter Olympics coverage last week and I have really been enjoying it. Somehow I can't seem to get motivated to watch them on French TV - I think I must miss Bob Costas something fierce (and too much biathalon coverage).
