Not sure what the big deal is about selling breast milk. Before there was formula, there were wetnurses, hired or volunteer (my great grandmother nursed at least one of her SIL's children concurrently with one of her own). Sure, one would need reasonable assurances of the health of the donor. But I'd rather see the moms get the money than have it gobbled up in the administrative fees of milk banks. After all, pumping is way more work than, say, giving blood/plasma, etc.

I think we're going to try that pasta pie for Sunday dinner.
