many things make a post

* I approve of this book club.
* Creative folk -- really, any folk -- should listen to this podcast.
* Chest merkin. Heh. Makes up for the rest of it being enraging.
* I am a total Order Muppet.
* Why a news fast might be a good idea.
* Because all girly things are pink.
* The Tao of Poo. (Warning: contains poo.)
* Can you really acheive the impossible?
* I might need this shirt.
* "The fat kid is the bottleneck!"
* The original chicken footstool.
I need that t-shirt, but not in pink.

"The idea is to get to the point where any woman can choose to be a housewife without feeding into this system that stifles the success of other women." Love this line.

"The idea is to get to the point where any woman can choose to be a housewife without feeding into this system that stifles the success of other women." Trying to convince someone that they can discriminate without meaning to is a real difficult thing. Just because you don't mean to, doesn't absolve you of it.

I am definitely a faux-chaos Muppet.
Must. Have. Chicken. Footstool.
I'll buy that right after I buy a Cowch.

Interesting. I am actually on my media blackout period, which is Nov before presidential election year to Nov of election year. I've been doing it for a couple elections now.
The important stuff filters through, and most of the rage-making noise stays away. It improves my mood immensely.

Thanks for the tip on the podcast. I'm always looking for new ones to check out

I think I'm an Order Muppet who really wants to be a Chaos Muppet. Like ... I've always been more Sam the Eagle and Prairie Dawn and Bert than I would like to admit. Especially Prairie Dawn.
